Cuetec Kintrol Break & Jump Tips
Cuetec Kintrol tips are designed for the most demanding shots in cue sports, the break and the jump. Developed as a new solution when previous composite options were discontinued, Kintrol introduces a different approach focused on strength, consistency, and reliability.
Instead of traditional leather, Kintrol uses a layered glass-fibre resin construction that maintains its shape and response over time. The hit is firm and direct, helping generate strong, controlled breaks and clean jump execution without the inconsistency that softer tips can produce.
The internal structure uses a spiral-wound, multi-directional layering process, reinforced with an outer shell. This gives the tip its durability and consistent feel, while also making it far less sensitive to temperature, moisture, and wear.
Choosing Your Size
Kintrol tips are available in two sizes. Selecting the correct size is important to ensure proper fit and performance.
13mm Tip
Designed for break and jump shafts measuring approximately 12.75mm to 13.00mm.
14mm Tip
Designed for larger diameter break shafts measuring approximately 13.85mm to 14.10mm.
If you’re unsure which size you need, measure your current tip or shaft diameter before ordering.
A Different Feel to Traditional Tips
Kintrol is not a leather tip, and it doesn’t behave like one. It offers a firmer, more direct strike with minimal compression, which many players prefer for break and jump situations where power and accuracy are critical.
It also requires far less maintenance, holding its shape and performance over time without frequent reshaping.
