Our Mount Kuring-Gai showroom in Sydney gives players the opportunity to experience American pool equipment in person. Customers can test selected Cuetec demo cues through actual play on our two tournament-quality 9ft American pool tables, compare different cue and shaft technologies and get advice before purchasing.

American Pool Cues
American pool cues are designed around the playing characteristics of games such as 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball, where larger balls, different shaft technologies and the demands of break and jump shots create different equipment requirements to traditional snooker.
Our American pool cue range includes performance playing cues, low-deflection shafts, carbon fibre technology, dedicated break cues and jump cues.
Cuetec is the cornerstone of our American pool cue range, with AVID and Cynergy options covering players from those buying their first serious performance cue through to experienced players looking for premium carbon fibre technology.
Cuetec Cues Australia
The Snooker Shop is an official Australian Cuetec distributor, stocking an extensive selection of Cuetec cues, shafts and accessories.
The Cuetec range includes AVID low-deflection playing cues and shafts, premium Cynergy carbon fibre technology, dedicated break and jump cues, replacement shafts and accessories.
Rather than choosing purely from specifications, customers visiting our Sydney showroom can test selected Cuetec demo cues through actual play and compare different options before purchasing.
Try American Pool Cues Before You Buy
The specifications of a pool cue can tell you a lot, but they cannot completely tell you how a cue will feel in your hands or perform for your game.
At our Mount Kuring-Gai showroom, we maintain selected Cuetec demo cues specifically so players can test and compare equipment before purchasing.
Customers can play with the demo cues on our two tournament-quality 9ft American pool tables, allowing different cues and shaft technologies to be experienced in a proper playing environment.
Whether you are comparing AVID and Cynergy, considering your first low-deflection cue, moving to carbon fibre or simply looking for a cue that feels right for you, the showroom provides the opportunity to experience selected options before making your decision.
American Pool Tables
American pool tables are built around different playing characteristics to traditional Australian and English-style pool tables. Fast worsted cloth, responsive cushions and larger American pool balls create the playing conditions associated with modern 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball.
The Snooker Shop is an official Australian distributor for Super Power Billiards, supplying professional 9ft American pool tables designed around competition-focused playing specifications.
Our Super Power tournament range includes the Wolverine Volcano and Phantom models, combining 3-piece slate beds, steel support structures, precision slate levelling systems, high-performance worsted cloth and professional American pool cushion specifications.
These tables are suitable for serious home players as well as pool halls, clubs, competition venues and commercial installations.
American Pool Balls – Dynaspheres & Aramith
The quality and consistency of the balls are an important part of how an American pool table plays.
The Snooker Shop is an official Australian distributor for Dynaspheres, offering premium American pool ball sets for 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball players, clubs, pool halls and home tables.
Dynaspheres produces precision phenolic resin balls designed for consistent performance, durability and accurate play across American pool disciplines.
We also stock selected Aramith American pool balls, providing customers with additional options from one of the world’s best-known pool ball manufacturers.
American Pool Cloth – PNS
Table cloth is a major part of how an American pool table performs. Unlike traditional napped snooker cloth, American pool tables commonly use smooth worsted cloth designed to provide fast, consistent playing conditions.
The Snooker Shop is an official Australian distributor for PNS American pool cloth, supplying specialist cloth for American pool tables across home, club, competition and commercial environments.
PNS cloth is also used across our Super Power tournament table tournament table range, bringing together professional American pool table construction with cloth designed for the speed and consistency expected from modern American pool.
We can supply American pool cloth for new tables and reclothing work, with professional installation also available.
American Pool Equipment & Accessories
A complete American pool setup extends beyond the cue, table, balls and cloth.
The Snooker Shop supplies cue cases, chalk, tips, extensions, gloves, replacement shafts and other equipment for American 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball players.
Our range supports everyone from players putting together their first dedicated American pool setup through to experienced competitors, clubs, pool halls and commercial venues.
American Pool Table Installation & Reclothing
The way an American pool table is installed and maintained has a direct effect on how it plays.
Our table services include professional pool table installation and American pool table reclothing, with particular attention to slate setup, levelling, cloth tension and the different installation requirements of worsted American pool cloth.
We work on American pool tables in homes, clubs and commercial environments and can also assist customers purchasing a new table with delivery and professional installation requirements.
