Our Story
The Snooker Shop was founded after a simple realisation: Australian cue sports players deserved better.
After returning to the game, founder Jason Hastings found it surprisingly difficult to buy the cue he wanted. Limited choice, inconsistent service and a lack of specialist knowledge eventually led him to travel to England to buy one. Years of travelling overseas for cue sports had already highlighted the gap between what was available in Australia and what players could access elsewhere.
Australian players shouldn't have to go to those lengths to find quality equipment, and The Snooker Shop was created to change that. What began as a small specialist retailer has grown into one of Australia's leading cue sports stores, offering an extensive range of pool tables, snooker tables, cues, cases, cloth, accessories and lighting. More importantly, it's a place where players get genuine advice from people who understand and love the game.
