Description
The 1066 Billiards Valour 031 is a 3/4 jointed ash snooker cue with a lighter overall weight and a distinctly rearward balance. At 57″ and 17.8oz, this cue has a compact, responsive profile, while the 16.5″ balance point keeps more of the feel towards the cueing hand rather than drawing the cue forward through the stroke.
Its 9.5mm tip provides the familiar contact point preferred by many snooker players, while the 29.9mm butt diameter gives the Valour 031 a relatively slim and comfortable grip. The combination of lighter weight, rearward balance and slimmer butt creates a cue that should appeal to players who prefer direct control from the cueing hand and an easy, manoeuvrable feel around the table.
Cue Features
Constructed from selected ash, the Valour 031 provides clear feedback and a consistent response through the cue ball. This individual cue features its own unique 8-splice butt design, adding visual individuality while retaining the traditional character of the Valour range. Its 3/4 jointed construction provides a strong, connected feel through the stroke while remaining practical for transport. A fitted butt-end thread allows compatibility with all 1066 Billiards extensions (sold separately).

Why Choose the Valour 031?
The Valour 031 is particularly suited to players who prefer their cue to feel controlled from the back rather than carrying pronounced weight towards the tip. Its 16.5″ balance point creates a distinctly rearward playing profile, while the 17.8oz weight keeps the cue light enough for responsive acceleration and fine control over the delivery.
The slimmer 29.9mm butt reinforces that agile feel, while the 57″ length will suit players who favour a slightly shorter cue rather than additional reach. These characteristics give the Valour 031 a genuinely different playing profile within the range, combining lighter weight, a slim grip and rearward balance in one individual ash snooker cue.
