Description

The 1066 Billiards Valour 036 is a 3/4 jointed ash snooker cue designed for players who prefer a solid cue with a distinctly rearward balance. At 18.6oz with a 16.5″ balance point, this model combines added weight with a balance that sits closer to the cueing hand, creating a stable feel without the forward pull of a front-balanced cue.

At 57″ in length with a 9.5mm tip, the Valour 036 offers a slightly more compact setup with familiar cue ball contact. Its 30.2mm butt diameter provides a fuller, traditional grip, while the combination of shorter length, heavier weight and rearward balance gives the cue a controlled, substantial feel in the hand.

Cue Features

Constructed from selected ash, the Valour 036 delivers dependable feedback and a consistent response across all areas of play. Its unique 8-splice butt design gives this individual cue its own appearance while maintaining the traditional character of the Valour range. The 3/4 jointed construction provides a strong, connected feel through the stroke while offering practical portability. A fitted butt-end thread allows compatibility with all 1066 Billiards extensions (sold separately).

Why Choose the Valour 036?

The Valour 036 offers an interesting combination for players who like some weight in their cue but do not want that weight concentrated towards the front. Its 18.6oz weight gives it a planted, reassuring presence, while the 16.5″ balance point keeps the feel noticeably closer to the cueing hand.

Its 57″ length and fuller 30.2mm butt further distinguish the 036 from longer, more forward-balanced Valour models. This combination makes it particularly suited to players looking for a substantial cue with a compact, controlled and distinctly rear-balanced playing profile.
