Volkan Clean is the first step. Spray 2 to 3 pumps onto a cotton pad and gently wipe the shaft to remove chalk residue, dirt, and excess moisture. After cleaning, use a dry cloth to wipe it down until the surface feels smooth and slick. Volkan Clean is ideal when the cue feels sticky or after playing in humid conditions. If used regularly over a long period, it’s recommended to follow up with Volkan Fast to prevent the shaft from drying out.
Volkan Fast & Play Oil is used to nourish the wood and maintain a silky-smooth finish. Apply 2 to 3 pumps evenly across the shaft and leave it for one minute. Then wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth until the cue feels smooth and dry. This product helps prevent the wood from drying and is also suitable for new cues as part of routine maintenance. After using, be sure to wash and dry your hands before playing.
Volkan Wax is best for long-term protection or storage. It reduces fine burrs and imperfections while creating a smooth finish that lasts. Apply 2 to 3 pumps to the shaft and leave it overnight. The next day, buff it with a clean dry cloth until the surface is slippery and clean. For best results, always clean with Volkan Clean before applying the wax.
