Despite the longer construction, its 18.5oz weight keeps the cue within a familiar playing range, offering extra length without requiring the player to move to an unusually heavy setup.

The 17" balance point keeps the Genesis 152 relatively rear-biased, an important characteristic on a cue of this length. Rather than allowing the additional shaft length to create an overly front-heavy feel, the balance remains closer to the hand, helping the 60" cue feel controlled and manageable through the stroke. A 9.5mm tip provides a familiar contact point for snooker and English pool, while the 30.1mm butt offers a solid, comfortable grip without being excessively thick. The ebony butt is finished naturally and may display subtle brown figuring, which is a normal characteristic of genuine ebony.

Cue Features

Produced from selected ash to The Snooker Shop’s in-house Genesis standards, the Genesis 152 is designed for players who need or prefer additional cue length while still wanting a controlled playing feel. Its 3/4 joint construction is particularly practical with a 60" cue, reducing its packed length for easier transport while maintaining solid feedback during play. A fitted butt extension thread accepts standard mini and telescopic extensions (sold separately) for shots requiring even greater reach.

Cue Specifications

Cue Type: 3/4 jointed
Shaft Material: Ash
Tip Size: 9.5mm
Length: 60"
Weight: 18.5oz
Butt Diameter: 30.1mm
Balance Point: 17"
Butt Extension Thread: Fitted

Why Choose the MYCUE Genesis 152?

The Genesis 152 is an appealing option for taller players and anyone who feels more comfortable using a longer snooker cue. Its full 60" length provides two inches of additional reach over the traditional 58" size, while the 17" balance point helps prevent that extra length from producing an excessively forward-weighted feel. At 18.5oz with a 30.1mm butt, it combines extended reach with a solid but controlled overall profile.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0597/8947/5949/files/C6638A0D-8847-4211-88A6-4D661B59343F.jpg?v=1790990681
